Gombe Command Boosts Professionalism Through Personnel Training

The Federal Fire Service (FFS), Gombe State Command, has reinforced its commitment to discipline and professionalism by organizing a targeted training session focused on uniform standards and personal grooming.
The training, facilitated by ASF II Ibrahim Isa of the Provost Unit, highlighted the importance of proper dressing, neat appearance, and strict adherence to approved Service regalia as key components of professional conduct.
Personnel were sensitized on the correct usage and maintenance of uniforms, as well as the critical role personal appearance plays in enhancing operational efficiency and fostering public confidence.
Speaking during the session, ASF Isa stressed that professionalism extends beyond operational competence, noting that discipline in appearance reflects readiness, orderliness, and respect for the Service.
The Command further emphasized that maintaining high standards in dressing and grooming is essential for strengthening the institution’s image and ensuring a coordinated and effective emergency response.
This initiative aligns with the vision of the Controller-General of Fire, Olumode Samuel Adeyemi, which is centered on repositioning the Service to meet global best practices, with discipline and professionalism as core pillars.
The Federal Fire Service, Gombe State Command, remains steadfast in its commitment to continuous personnel development and institutional reforms aimed at improving service delivery and protecting lives and property.
