The deployment forms part of the Command’s proactive security measures aimed at safeguarding lives and critical national assets, as well as maintaining law and order before, during, and after the festive period.
Personnel drawn from various departments and specialised units of the Corps have been strategically stationed at Eid prayer grounds, recreational centres, markets, motor parks, and other identified vulnerable locations across the state.
In addition, the Command has intensified patrol operations, surveillance, and intelligence gathering to prevent any potential security threats.

He further advised residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with security operatives by providing credible and timely information that could help prevent crime.
The Commandant also urged members of the public to celebrate responsibly and avoid any actions that could disrupt public peace.
While felicitating with the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, Commandant Umoru wished them a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
