Nigerian Army Cyber Warfare Command Strengthens Partnership with Directorate of Recruitment


The Nigerian Army Cyber Warfare Command (NACWC) has reaffirmed its commitment to enhanced collaboration and sustained technical support for the Directorate of Recruitment, Nigerian Army.
The Commander of NACWC, Major General KO Osemwegie, gave the assurance on Tuesday, 24 February 2026, during a courtesy visit by the Director of Recruitment, Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Ismaila Sule, to the Command’s Headquarters in Giri, Abuja. He emphasized the strategic importance of continuous institutional cooperation in safeguarding the Nigerian Army’s cyber infrastructure and ensuring a secure, transparent, and seamless recruitment process.
Major General Osemwegie expressed appreciation to the Director for the visit and reiterated the Command’s readiness to provide the necessary technical expertise and operational support to enable the Directorate to effectively discharge its mandate. He noted that robust cyber protection remains critical to maintaining the integrity of recruitment exercises.
Earlier, Brigadier General Ismaila Sule commended NACWC for its consistent technical assistance, particularly in managing and securing the recruitment portal from commencement to closure during past exercises. He acknowledged the Command’s professionalism and dedication in supporting the Directorate’s activities.
He further stated that the synergy between both formations is vital to preserving the credibility, transparency, and efficiency of the recruitment process, while advancing the Nigerian Army’s objective of enlisting competent and capable personnel into its ranks.
