Edo NSCDC Congratulates CG Audi on Re-Appointment, Five-Year Tenure Extension


The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Edo State Command, under the leadership of State Commandant Akintayo Saidi Ayinla, has congratulated the Commandant General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, OFR, on his well-deserved re-appointment and five-year tenure extension approved by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
The Command described the re-appointment as a clear demonstration of the President’s confidence in the leadership capacity and sterling achievements of the Commandant General. It expressed appreciation to Mr. President for entrusting the Corps to a visionary and result-driven administrator whose wealth of experience and strategic direction continue to reposition the NSCDC for greater efficiency and national relevance.
According to the Command, the tenure of CG Audi has been marked by impactful reforms, operational strengthening, and innovative initiatives that have significantly enhanced service delivery across formations. His dedication to personnel welfare, capacity building, and institutional development has boosted morale and improved productivity within the Corps.
The Edo State Command noted that the re-appointment is a fitting recognition of the Commandant General’s commitment, integrity, and purposeful leadership. It expressed confidence that the Corps will attain even greater milestones under his continued guidance.
The Command further prayed that Almighty God grants him wisdom, sound health, renewed strength, and divine grace to successfully lead the Corps to greater heights in this new phase of his administration.
