The Oluwo of Iwo has decorated one of his security aides, Akintunde Wale, following his promotion to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Corps (DSC) in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
The decoration ceremony, held at the palace, recognised Wale as one of the foundational members of the Oluwo’s security detail who has served with loyalty, discipline and professionalism over the years.
The monarch described the newly promoted officer as a positive ambassador of the NSCDC, noting that his dedication to duty and operational competence have distinguished him in the course of service.
While decorating him with his new rank, the Oluwo offered prayers for continued protection, wisdom and greater achievements in his career within the Corps.
The event underscored the importance of rewarding diligence and commitment to service, while reaffirming the traditional institution’s support for security agencies in the maintenance of peace and order.
