The Federal Fire Service, Niger State Command, has officially commenced the 2025 National Fire Safety Week with a highly engaging Public Lecture held at the Conference Hall of the Federal Secretariat Complex, Minna.
With the theme “Building a Culture of Fire Safety Across Nigeria: Overcoming the ‘Not My Portion’ Mentality,” the event brought together key stakeholders committed to advancing fire safety awareness throughout the state.
The lecture attracted Government Officials, Heads of Security Agencies—including the Nigerian Army, NSCDC, FRSC, Nigeria Immigration Service, and NDLEA—alongside leaders of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Market Associations, Community Leaders, Business Owners, and members of the public.
In his welcome address, the State Controller of the Federal Fire Service, Niger State Command, ACF Alkali Danjuma Muhammad, thanked all attendees and emphasized that fire safety is a shared responsibility.
