KAEDCO ZAMFARA REGIONAL OFFICE VISITS NSCDC TO STRENGTHEN COLLABORATIVE SECURITY PARTNERSHIP

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Zamfara State Command, recently welcomed the management team of the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAEDCO), Zamfara Regional Office, led by the newly appointed Regional Manager, Mr. Muazu Aliyu. The visit was aimed at fostering stronger collaboration and enhancing the energy of existing partnerships within the state.

In his remarks, the Regional Manager expressed appreciation for the Corps’ commitment to protecting critical national assets and infrastructure, highlighting NSCDC as a key ally in supporting electricity distribution operations.

Mr. Aliyu described the relationship between KAEDCO and NSCDC as mutually complementary and reinforcing. He emphasized, “Upon assuming duty in Zamfara State, I found it essential to establish a cordial working relationship with your command to enhance our department’s efficiency and productivity.”

Responding, CC Sani Mustapha acknowledged the pivotal role of power supply in state development, noting that electricity is a sensitive sector that demands comprehensive security measures. He assured that under his leadership, the Corps will continue to provide robust security support for electric plants across Zamfara State.

In conclusion, the State Commandant pledged NSCDC’s maximum support to KAEDCO, emphasizing the Corps’ commitment to preventing vandalism and sabotage in the electricity sector, thereby contributing to improved service delivery and sustainable development in the state.
