In a striking display of unity and professionalism, Commandant Akintayo Ayinla Saidi, the newly appointed Commandant of the NSCDC Edo State Command, led personnel in an impactful muster parade, emphasizing the importance of punctuality, teamwork, and loyalty. The parade demonstrated the command’s commitment to discipline and operational excellence.
The ceremony commenced at 0900 hours at the State Headquarters, where prayers for protection and divine guidance were offered by the Imam and Chaplain, creating a solemn and focused atmosphere.
In his address, Commandant Ayinla thanked officers and men for their warm reception and invoked divine blessings upon the command. He also paid tribute to his late friend, Commandant Agun Gbenga, and stressed the significance of collective effort, stating, “Together, we can achieve greatness and make the NSCDC a beacon of excellence.”
The Commandant emphasized that punctuality is the cornerstone of effective service delivery, reflecting discipline, commitment, and respect for the Corps’ mandate. He urged personnel to view punctuality as a shared responsibility, essential for operational readiness and public trust.
