Federal Fire Service Sensitizes Students on Fire Safety at Forth International School, Sokoto

The Federal Fire Service (FFS), Sokoto State Command, on Friday, 10th October 2025, organized a comprehensive fire safety education and prevention programme at Forth International School, Sokoto.

The exercise aimed to build early awareness among pupils and students on fire prevention, safety consciousness, and appropriate emergency response procedures within the school environment.

The event brought together pupils from the nursery and primary sections, as well as secondary school students and their teachers. It was an engaging and interactive session, with participants showing keen interest and enthusiasm throughout.

The lecture featured practical demonstrations, including fire safety briefings, evacuation drills, and an exhibition of firefighting equipment. Officers also took time to explain the different types of appliances, their functions, and their roles in effective firefighting operations.

The programme was highly successful and further demonstrated the Command’s unwavering commitment to promoting fire safety awareness and preventive education in schools across Sokoto State.
