NSCDC Commandant Bodinga Strengthens Partnership with DSS in Kano

The Kano State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, has reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to strengthening its long-standing partnership with the Department of State Services (DSS) in the state.

Commandant Bodinga made this known during a courtesy visit to the Director of the Department of State Services, Kano State Command, Mr. Abubakar Hussein, at his office.

In his remarks, the Commandant acknowledged the cordial working relationship that already exists between both agencies and pledged to build on the achievements of his predecessors.
“Already, there is strong synergy and collaboration between our agencies. I am committed to maintaining this cordial relationship and will continue to provide all necessary support through regular sharing of credible intelligence to help safeguard the lives and property of the good people of Kano,” he stated.

In his response, the Director of the DSS, Mr. Abubakar Hussein, welcomed Commandant Bodinga to Kano and assured him of the Service’s full cooperation and support in protecting critical national assets and infrastructure.

“I have observed your passion and dedication, and people speak highly of your professionalism. Be assured of our support to ensure your success,” the Director noted.

He further emphasized the importance of collaboration among security agencies, stressing that no single agency holds a monopoly of knowledge. He called for unity of purpose among all security outfits to enhance service delivery and ensure public safety.

In a related development, Commandant Bodinga also paid a visit to FRCN’s Pyramid Radio, Kano, where he featured on a live programme co-anchored by the General Manager, Garba Ubale Dambatta, and his team, discussing security collaboration and community safety initiatives in the state.
