COMMANDANT AHMAD DEPLOYS 2160 OPERATIVES AHEAD OF PRESIDENTIAL VISIT, ASSURES FOR ADEQUATE SECURITY

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) Katsina State Command, Commandant of Corps Aminu Datti Ahmad deployed 2160 personnel in preparation to the presidential working visit in the State.

The State Commandant made this known while briefing senior management staff of the Command in a special meeting held today Thursday 1st May, 2025 at the Command Headquarters Katsina.Ahmad also noted that the President and Commander in Chief of the armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Bola Ahmad Tinubu, is scheduled to visit the State for 2-day working visit.During the visit, the President will commission two major projects executed by Governor Dikko Umaru Radda’s administration including the Eastern bypass dual carriageway and Agricultural Mechanization Centre at Tashar Bala.

Commandant Ahmad also briefly addressed the officers and men of the Command before their deployment.
While tasking operatives for civility and professionalism, the Commandant further emphasized for strategic deployment of personnel to the sites of two major projects scheduled for commissioning, airport, Usman bin Affan Mosque Modoji, and other relevant locations within the metropolis.He also directed the detailing and deployment of undercover operatives to sensitive locations.

The State Commandant tasked the relevant Heads of Departments and Units,Area Commanders, Divisional Officers,Unit Commanders, OC Outposts and Special Forces to ensure well coordination and proper patrolling to provide watertight Security in the State.He also urged the monitoring of Deployments for both covert and overt personnel.

The State NSCDC Boss further charged personnel for commitments and dedication to duty.
“Personnel deployed must be very professional and synergize with other security agencies to ensure adequate security”
The Commandant reiterated

The Head of Operations and Head Special duty further elaborated on all the necessary operational procedure contained in the operational order.
