GOVERNOR UBA SANI LAUDS NSCDC COMMEND INTERAGENCY COLLABORATIONS IN KADUNA AS COMMANDANT GENERAL PAYS WORKING VISIT TO NORTH WEST

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi mni, commenced Operational tour to NSCDC State Commands in the North West.
His first point of call was Kaduna State Command where he also paid a courtesy visit to the Kaduna State governor Uba Sani.

The governor expressed his happiness and elation to receive the NSCDC Commandant General most especially with the presence of other sister security agencies who accompanied the CG to meet the Governor, among his entourage are: Comptroller T.A Lawal Immigration Service,Controller Aminu Yusuf (mni) Correctional service and M.M Mogaji of the Department of State Services.

He pointed out that the scenario showed the level of improved and excellent working relationship among all the security agencies in the State adding that the good synergy would go a long way to further strengthen the current security situation in the State.

The governor however appealed to the NSCDC and other security agencies in the State to do more in the area of intelligence sharing saying that security is a collective responsibility and there is no way to make headway if each one is claiming to be an island..

He commended operational activities of the NSCDC in Kaduna State adding that the modus operandi of the the Corps in the State is making them to be first among the equal charging the NSCDC not to relent.

In his remark Commandant General Audi saluted the governor’s efforts in curbing spare of criminal activities in the State which has led to drastic reduction in the criminalities in the State . gratitude to the supports and warm reception that the NSCDC is enjoying in Kaduna State. The CG also assured the Governor that NSCDC and other security agencies in the State will continue to be on the same page with the governor and the State at large in reducing criminalities to the barest minimum in Kaduna State.

The Commandant General stated that this Operational tour is carried out every first and last quarter of every year.He also thanked the governor for the land given to the NSCDC adding that the development of the landed property has started.

The Commandant General also visited the Emir of the Zazzau Emirate Mallam Ahmid Nuhu Bamali. CFR in his palace where the CG received Royal blessings.

While addressing the officers and men of the Corps in Kaduna State, the Commandant General thanked them for a job well done in carrying out their statutory responsibilities in Kaduna State emphasizing on the need for improved professionalism and commitment.
