As part of his generosity and compassion, the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Katsina State Command,
Commandant of Corps Aminu Datti Ahmad, hasvisited different parts of the Katsina metropolis and shared essential food items to less privileged and other vulnerable members of the public today Wednesday 19th March, 2025.

Commandant Ahmad while sharing the essential food items to different individuals across Katsina metropolis emphasized the relevance of standing together with less privileged and vulnerable members of the public especially during this period of Ramadan.

Packages containing essential food items mainly rice and spaghetti were distributed by the Commandant.From the State Command Headquarters, the Commandant passed through IBB way and reached Kandahar Juma’at Mosque.Items were also distributed at Daki Tara down to Kofar Soro and Gambarawa Quarters.

Vulnerable women and less privileged elderly people were given the packages. Many of the beneficiaries expressed much happiness, gratitude and prayed to Almighty Allah to guide and bless the State Commandant for his generosity and compassion.

In another development, Commandant Ahmad issued cheque on behalf of Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi PhD mni OFR to deceased family Mal. Nura Shehu.This is part of CG Audi commitments to welfare including that of deceased families.Group life insurance is part of the death benefits of personnel that died in the course of service and Musa Abdu is one of them.
