
Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC) Gombe State Command is pleased to announce that our esteemed State Commandant, CC, Gyama Gyawiya has delivered a landmark lecture at the 2nd Gombe State Security Summit, held on 26 – 27th, Feb 2005 at the International Conference Centre, Gombe.
The summit, themed “Building a safer and more secure Gombe State: Addressing Insecurity through Collective Action,” brought together stakeholders from across the state and beyond to address pressing security challenges. Our Commandant’s lecture, [ UNDERSTANDING SECURITY LANDSCAPE IN GOMBE STATE, CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES ] highlighted strategic approaches to combating insecurity and fostering collaboration among Security agencies, with specifics on role of the Corps in maintaining peace and Security in the State through the Command’s strategic coordinated responses of Anti Vandal, Oil and Gas, Mining marshals , Agro Rangers as wall as numerous Intelligence Officers working round the clock in the State to ensure that peace and Stability is maintained.
In attendance were dignitaries, including the Executive Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya; Security chiefs; Traditional Rulers; and community leaders. The summit provided a platform for robust discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking among participants.

The 2nd Gombe State Security Summit demonstrated the State’s commitment to addressing security challenges and ensuring the safety of its citizens. Our Commandant’s lecture reinforced the importance of collaborative efforts in achieving this goal.
