LAGOS NSCDC PROMISES TO BE ALIVE TO DUTY AT AIRPORT, MD/CEO FAAN CHARGES PERSONNEL ON CROWD CONTROL AND TASK FORCE OPERATIONS

Keshinro harps on effective collaboration with all agencies and stakeholders at the Lagos Airport …

The Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer, FAAN, Mrs Olubunmi Oluwaseun Kuku called, on the personnel of the NSCDC at the Airport, to remain alive, dedicated and committed to their duties. She however, commended, their efforts so far, but charged, them to do more in the areas of traffic, crowd control and task force operations and many other functions as they may be assigned to carry out at the Airport.

The charge above was received, by the Commander, Airport Unit, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Assistant Commandant of Corps Omideyi Ibrahim during his visit, to the MD/CEO of FAAN, together with the Director of Aviation Security Services, Mr Igbafe Afegbai, Assistant Commissioner of Police ( rtd ), on Thursday, 16th January, 2025.

Recall that the State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, on Thursday , 9th January, 2025, piloted, the maiden training organized, for personnel of the Command attached, to the Muritala Muhammed International Airport ( MMIA I, II and NAHCO.

It was in the light of the efforts to further improve the performances of the Corps’ personnel at the Lagos Airport that the State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro directed, the Commander, Airport Unit, to ensure effective synergy between the Corps and all Agencies of Government and Stakeholders working for the common goal of safety, security and protection of lives of very distinguished personalities, workers, passengers, critical national assets and infrastructure and many more facilities at the Airport.

The Director of Aviation Security Services, Mr Igbafe Afegbai, Assistant Commissioner of Police (rtd), yesterday, during the visit also commended, the NSCDC personnel attached to the Lagos Airport, for their synergy with other security agencies and relevant stakeholders, in a bid to getting the job done. He charged them to do more in this regard.
