Former Osun CP Ibrahim Gotan, 17 Others Promoted to AIG Rank

Former Commissioner of Police in Osun State, Ibrahim Gotan, and 17 other Commissioners of Police have been elevated to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG).

Following their promotion, the senior police officers have been assigned to strategic positions across the country as part of a fresh redeployment approved by the Nigeria Police Force.

The appointments and postings are aimed at strengthening operational efficiency, enhancing leadership capacity, and reinforcing the Force’s commitment to effective policing and national security.

The newly promoted AIGs are expected to bring their wealth of experience and professional expertise to their respective assignments in support of ongoing efforts to improve public safety and security nationwide.
