The Federal Fire Service (FFS), Gombe State Command, joined other security, safety, and emergency management agencies at the Swearing In Ceremony of the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Corps Members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). The event was held at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Amada, Gombe State.
Representing the State Controller, the Operations Commander of the Command, SF Ahmed Ibrahim, attended the ceremony alongside senior government officials, traditional rulers, heads of security agencies, and other distinguished guests.
The ceremony formally marked the commencement of the orientation exercise for corps members posted to Gombe State. It also provided an avenue for relevant stakeholders to reaffirm their commitment to ensuring a safe, secure, and conducive environment throughout the orientation programme.
In his remarks, the representative of the Federal Fire Service reiterated the Command’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property through effective fire prevention measures, public safety awareness, and prompt emergency response services.
The Command assured the corps members of its readiness to provide necessary fire safety support and emergency assistance whenever required during their stay at the orientation camp and throughout their service year in the state.
