PROTEST: KOGI NSCDC COMMAND EMBARKS ON SHOW OF FORCE, TELLS ITS OPERATIVES TO BE ETHICALLY, PROFESSIONALLY COMPLIANT DURING AND AFTER PROTEST

In view of the proposed nationwide protest Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has embarked on show of force within the State capital and its environs.

Helmsman of the Kogi NSCDC, Commandant Paul Igwebuike charged them to be ethically compliant and display high sense of proffessionalism while discharging their duty, noting that the decision to embark on show of force was not taken lightly but a testament to our commitment in maintaining peace and order in the midst of unforseen potential turmoil to protect lives and properties vis-a-vis Critical National Asset and Infrastructures been the Corps mandate.

He reiterated that he would not condone any act of indiscipline especially from NSCDC operatives who are trigger freak and overzealous in action as the Corps is reputed for its capacity as a guardian of safety , protector of peace ,and defender of justice.

Speaking further Commandant Igwebuike emphasised the need for the deployed operatives to carry out their assigned responsibilities with all sense of courage and patriotism.
