The Federal Fire Service (FFS), Taraba State Command, has successfully responded to a fire outbreak at Agada Atah, Magami area of Jalingo, saving property worth an estimated ₦52,000,000.
The incident involved a twin flat comprising two residential apartments, each with four self-contained bedrooms. The firefighters promptly responded to a distress call and arrived at the scene in good time, preventing the fire from causing extensive damage to the building and nearby structures.
The firefighting crew, led by ASF II Bruno Nsame, acted swiftly and professionally to contain and extinguish the blaze before it could spread to adjoining buildings. Through effective deployment of equipment and coordinated efforts, the team successfully brought the situation under control.
Fortunately, no casualties were recorded in the incident. The timely intervention of the firefighters minimized losses and ensured the safety of residents within the vicinity.
