Peace Advocacy Group Honours NSCDC Kebbi Commandant with Integrity Stewardship Award

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kebbi State Command, has received a Certificate of Integrity Stewardship Service Ambassador Award from the Advocacy for Peace and Values Re Orientation in recognition of its commitment to ethical leadership and professional service.
The award was presented on Wednesday in Kebbi State during a brief ceremony held at the Command headquarters. It was received on behalf of the State Commandant by the Command’s Public Relations Officer.
In his reaction, the State Commandant expressed deep appreciation to the Advocacy for Peace and Values Re Orientation for the recognition, describing the honour as both humbling and motivating. He said the award represents the collective discipline, professionalism, loyalty and dedication of officers and men of the Kebbi State Command rather than a personal accomplishment.
The Commandant stressed that integrity remains the foundation of effective leadership and sustainable governance, particularly for a security agency tasked with safeguarding lives, critical national assets and infrastructure. According to him, the award serves as a renewed call to greater responsibility, ethical conduct, accountability and selfless service.
He assured the people of Kebbi State and other stakeholders that the Command would continue to uphold the core values of the Corps, patriotism, discipline, transparency and professionalism, while strengthening collaboration with sister security agencies, traditional rulers, community leaders and civil society groups to sustain peace and security across the state. He dedicated the award to all personnel of the Command and reaffirmed his commitment to leading by example.
