Nasarawa state governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, has decorated an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lukman Na Ali, with his new rank of Chief Superintendent of Corps at the Government House, Lafia.
The decoration followed the recent promotion of Lukman Na Ali by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in recognition of his dedication, professionalism and years of committed service to the nation.
The brief but colourful ceremony took place at the Government House, where Governor Sule was assisted by the Nasarawa State Commandant of the NSCDC, Commandant Brah Samson Umoru, in formally adorning the officer with his new rank.
Speaking during the ceremony, Governor Sule congratulated the newly promoted officer and described the advancement as well deserved. He encouraged him to remain disciplined, committed and steadfast in the discharge of his duties to the Corps and the country at large.
The governor further wished Chief Superintendent Lukman Na Ali continued success and higher achievements in his career, while reaffirming the state government’s support for security agencies in their efforts to maintain peace, security and stability across Nasarawa State.
