The Acting Commander, Sector 4 Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) and Commander, 23 Brigade, Brigadier General Amechi Agwu, has reaffirmed the Sector’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of residents of Adamawa State and its environs, while strengthening collaboration among security agencies.
Brigadier General Agwu gave the assurance during separate courtesy visits to the Headquarters of 23 Brigade by the Comptroller of Immigration, Adamawa State Command, Comptroller Sani Jega, and the Executive Vice Chairman of the Adamawa State Peace Commission (ASPC), Dr. Jemila Suleman, on Friday, January 16, 2026. He described the security situation in the state as relatively calm and under control, attributing the stability to the collective efforts of security agencies and the support of the Adamawa State Government.
The Acting Commander commended the cooperation and synergy among security agencies in the state and assured the visitors of the Sector’s continued support to ensure the protection of lives and property. He emphasized that the Sector would continue to work closely with sister agencies to sustain peace and security across Adamawa State.

He also sought the continued support of the Sector, particularly in border areas, to enhance the operations of officers and men of the Nigerian Immigration Service.
