PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: CALL FOR NOMINATIONS – 2025 PEOPLE’S SECURITY MONITOR ANNUAL SECURITY SUMMIT AND RECOGNITION AWARDS

The Management of People’s Security Monitor (PSM) is delighted to announce the call for public nominations ahead of the 2025 Annual People’s Security Monitor Security Summit and Recognition Awards, scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 10th December 2025, at the Nigerian National Merit Award House, Maitama, Abuja.

This national event will serve as a vital platform for dialogue and collaboration among security experts, policymakers, and stakeholders on Nigeria’s evolving security landscape. It will also honour distinguished individuals and institutions whose integrity, professionalism, and commitment have contributed significantly to peace, safety, and national stability.

The People’s Security Monitor Recognition Awards cut across all segments of Nigeria’s security architecture, including the Armed Forces, Police, Civil Defence, Immigration, Customs, Fire Service, NDLEA, DSS, and other uniformed agencies, recognizing both retired and serving officers.

In addition, the awards extend to deserving members of the general public, including community leaders, journalists, scholars, and private citizens who have made remarkable contributions to the sustenance of peace, unity, and national security.

Nomination Guidelines:
Each nomination should include the following:

  1. A comprehensive résumé or CV of the nominee.
  2. Copies of supporting documents or evidence of achievements (where applicable).
  3. The contact address, phone number, and email of the nominee.
  4. The name, organization, contact details, and signature of the nominator.
  5. A brief statement (not more than 200 words) highlighting the nominee’s contributions to national security or public safety.

All nominations must be received on or before Friday, 22nd November 2025.
