NSCDC KANO COMMANDANT REITERATES COMMITMENT TO DISCIPLINE AND ETHICAL CONDUCT

The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to upholding discipline, professionalism, and ethical standards among personnel.

Commandant Bodinga made this known during an inspection of the Quarter Guard and an address to officers and men of the Command at the daily muster parade held at the command headquarters in Kano on Tuesday.

In his remarks, he reminded personnel that discipline, dedication, and ethical conduct remain the cornerstone of effective service delivery. He stressed that every officer must demonstrate loyalty, integrity, and professionalism in carrying out their duties, as these values are essential for maintaining public trust and operational efficiency.

The Commandant further cautioned that his leadership would not condone any form of unethical behaviour, negligence, or dereliction of duty. He noted that such attitudes undermine the core values of the Corps and hinder the achievement of its mandate to safeguard lives, critical infrastructure, and national assets.

Commandant Bodinga urged officers to remain steadfast, committed, and accountable in the discharge of their responsibilities. He charged them to uphold the image of the Corps through exemplary conduct, teamwork, and respect for the chain of command.

He concluded by assuring personnel of his continued support and commitment to their welfare and professional growth, while reiterating that under his watch, the NSCDC in Kano State would continue to operate on the principles of discipline, ethics, and service excellence.
