The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to ensuring a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process for all applicants participating in this year’s exercise.
In a renewed assurance to the public, the Board emphasized that the ongoing recruitment into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigeria Immigration Service would be conducted with the highest standards of fairness, integrity, and accountability.
According to the Board, applicants are strongly advised to channel all their enquiries, complaints, or clarifications strictly through the official CDCFIB communication channels. This, the Board explained, is to ensure that candidates receive authentic and up-to-date information while avoiding being misled or falling victim to fraudulent individuals and fake recruitment platforms.
The CDCFIB further warned the general public against engaging with unauthorized persons or websites claiming to have influence or privileged access to the recruitment process. It maintained that all recruitment procedures are handled solely by the Board and its approved representatives, without any form of monetary exchange.
In a statement signed by the Head of Press and Public Relations,Mrs. Juliet Okey, the Board noted that only credible and verified information issued through its official website and social media handles should be relied upon by applicants. She urged candidates to remain patient, vigilant, and law-abiding as the process continues.
Mrs. Okeh reiterated that transparency and equal opportunity remain the guiding principles of the Board, assuring that every qualified applicant will have a fair chance based solely on merit.
The Board also reaffirmed its dedication to national service and human resource development, stressing that the ongoing recruitment drive aims to strengthen the manpower needs of the nation’s security, correctional, fire, and immigration agencies for improved public safety and service delivery.
