CG, FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE, OLUMODE SAMUEL ADEYEMI REUNITES WITH OLD CLASSMATES

It was a moment of nostalgia and joyful reunion as the Controller-General of the Federal Fire Service, Dr. Olumode Samuel Adeyemi, warmly received his former postgraduate classmates from the 2018 Disaster Risk Management class of the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, at his office in the Service Headquarters, Abuja.

The delegation, led by Dr. Umaru Ndagi, Medical Director of the General Hospital, Wushishi, Niger State, paid a courtesy visit to celebrate their long-standing friendship and to reconnect with their distinguished colleague, who now leads one of Nigeria’s foremost emergency response institutions.

The atmosphere was filled with laughter, heartfelt exchanges, and reflections on their academic journey at FUT Minna — a period many described as both challenging and rewarding. The classmates expressed pride in Dr. Adeyemi’s remarkable leadership strides since assuming office, commending his visionary reforms in repositioning the Federal Fire Service for greater national impact.

In his response, Dr. Adeyemi expressed gratitude for the visit, noting that it was both refreshing and humbling to reconnect with old friends who share a common passion for disaster management and public service. He emphasized the importance of maintaining professional and personal networks that inspire collaboration and knowledge sharing across sectors.
