Lagos Commandant Rewards Outstanding Officers, Urges Commitment and Professionalism

The Lagos State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr. Keshinro Adedotun, has rewarded ten outstanding officers who excelled in various training programmes at the College of Security Management, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The recognition came during a muster parade held at the Command Headquarters in Alausa, Ikeja, on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, where the Commandant also received 274 newly trained and retrained personnel. The officers had participated in a series of professional development programmes between May and October 2025, under the COCATRAP, FOAHT, and Agro Rangers training sessions for Batches A, B, and C.

Addressing the personnel, Commandant Adedotun commended their dedication and commitment throughout the exercise, urging them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and discipline in the discharge of their duties. He reminded them that their conduct reflects the image of the Corps and encouraged them to remain good ambassadors of the NSCDC in their respective formations.

As a gesture of appreciation and motivation, the Commandant presented cash rewards to the ten officers who distinguished themselves as prize winners during the training, describing their achievements as a testament to hard work, focus, and excellence.

He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to continuous capacity building, stressing that regular training and retraining remain vital to enhancing operational efficiency and maintaining national security.
