FCT Command Marks Independence Day with Renewed Pledge to Security

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command has joined the nation in celebrating Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary with a strong message of unity, hope, and renewed commitment to safeguarding lives and property across the FCT.

At a ceremony held at the Command Headquarters in Abuja, the FCT Commandant commended officers and personnel for their tireless efforts in maintaining peace and security within their communities. He described their sacrifices as vital to Nigeria’s growth and stability.

“As we all strive day and night for peace and security in our various communities, I wish you all a Happy Independence Anniversary,” the Commandant said. He further assured that Nigeria’s future remains bright, declaring: “Nigeria is on the rise and shall be great again. I pray that our efforts in contributing to the greatness and security of our fatherland shall not be in vain.”

Following the Independence Day address, the Commandant held a strategic meeting with executive officers and FCT officials. The discussions focused on strengthening security measures and fostering deeper collaboration between security agencies and government institutions. The session reaffirmed the Command’s dedication to building a safer and more secure environment for all residents of the Federal Capital Territory.
