The Sokoto State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), under the leadership of Commandant E. A. Ajayi, has joined millions across the country in congratulating the Commandant General, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, on the occasion of his 58th birthday. The Command described Prof. Audi as a visionary leader whose tenure has been defined by reform, discipline, and foresight qualities that have transformed the Corps at the national level and strengthened its operations at the state level.
Commandant Ajayi noted that under Prof. Audi’s leadership, the NSCDC has made significant progress in personnel recruitment and training, with over 5,000 new officers absorbed nationwide to fill manpower gaps. Sokoto Command, he emphasized, has directly benefited from this expansion, along with improved logistics support, provision of patrol vehicles, and modern equipment that have enhanced field operations. He further highlighted Audi’s commitment to staff welfare, citing prompt promotions, training workshops, insurance schemes, and better health provisions that have boosted morale and productivity.
In a goodwill message on behalf of the entire Sokoto Command, Ajayi prayed for Prof. Audi’s continued good health, wisdom, and strength to sustain his achievements. He affirmed that the Command remains proud beneficiaries of Audi’s strategic direction, which has repositioned the NSCDC as a dependable force in protecting critical national assets, combating vandalism, and ensuring community safety across Nigeria.
