Tinubu Celebrates Former IGP Mohammed Adamu on His Birthday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to former Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, Walin Lafiya, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President commended the former police chief, who served as the nation’s 20th Inspector-General, for his decades of dedicated service. He lauded Adamu’s steady leadership in maintaining law and order and his significant contributions to modernising policing standards across the country.

President Tinubu further acknowledged the former IGP’s efforts in mentoring a new generation of officers and strengthening the institutional capacity of the Nigeria Police Force through reforms that continue to influence internal security management.

The President wished Mohammed Abubakar Adamu good health, renewed strength, and many more years of fulfilment in service to the nation and humanity.
