In a strategic move to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen security presence in local communities, the Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has appointed Superintendent of Corps (SC) Ibrahim Saidu as the new Divisional Officer for the Isiu Division, located within the Ikorodu North East Local Council Development Area.
SC Saidu officially assumed duty following his deployment by the State Commandant, with a directive to immediately bring his operational expertise and leadership skills to bear in fulfilling the Corps’ mandate of safeguarding lives, critical infrastructure, and maintaining public order in his new Area of Responsibility (AoR).
He succeeds Chief Superintendent of Corps (CSC) Thompson Fasanya, who has been redeployed to the Command’s Armed Squad Unit.
Before his new assignment, SC Saidu served as the Head of Operations and Deputy Divisional Officer (2iC) at the NSCDC Apapa Division, where he contributed significantly to strategic field operations.
The NSCDC Lagos State Command calls on the government, traditional rulers, and the peace-loving residents of Isiu to extend their full cooperation and support to the new Divisional Officer as he works to serve and protect the community.
