Federal Fire Service Zaria Partners with Man ‘O’ War on Flood Preparedness and Safety Awareness

The Zaria Area Command of the Federal Fire Service, on Tuesday, 16th September 2025, received representatives of Man ‘O’ War Nigeria, Railway, Zaria, as part of a growing partnership to promote public safety in flood-prone communities.

The delegation, led by Assistant Chief Marshal (ACM) Salisu Abdulrahman Dare, was warmly received on behalf of the Area Commander by Assistant Superintendent of Fire (ASF) Mohammed Abdullahi. The purpose of the visit was to explore opportunities for collaboration on an upcoming sensitisation campaign focused on flood risk awareness and community preparedness.

Speaking during the meeting, ACM Dare emphasised the need for synergy between both organisations in driving proactive measures aimed at reducing disaster risks and strengthening community resilience.

In response, ASF Mohammed commended the initiative, describing it as both timely and necessary. He reaffirmed the Zaria Area Command’s commitment to working closely with sister agencies and community-based groups to promote fire safety, disaster awareness, and emergency preparedness across the region.
