Nigerian Army Supply Commander Urges Prompt Logistics Feedback During OP HADIN KAI Visit

On Saturday, 14 September 2025, Major General Emmanuel Anaryu, Commander of the Corps of Supply and Transport (CCST) of the Nigerian Army, called for timely and accurate logistics feedback from the Joint Task Force North East (JTF NE) theatre, Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK).

Maj Gen Anaryu made the call during a familiarization visit to the OPHK Headquarters in Maiduguri, where he was warmly received by Theatre Commander Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar.

Highlighting the critical role of logistics in military operations, the CCST emphasized the need for close collaboration between the Theatre Command and the Corps of Supply and Transport to sustain ongoing successes.

He explained that the visit aimed to gather firsthand information on the theatre’s logistics needs and to engage with field commanders in finding effective solutions.

Maj Gen Anaryu also praised Maj Gen Abubakar’s leadership and urged commanders to prioritize troop welfare and morale, aligning with the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede’s “Soldiers Come First” policy.

Additionally, he assured that efforts would be made to resolve challenges such as the shortage of trained drivers and the lack of standard shelters for operational vehicles.

In response, Maj Gen Abubakar welcomed the CCST’s visit, commended the Corps for their ongoing support, and reaffirmed his commitment to continued cooperation in logistics, training, and operations. He also praised the professionalism of the officers deployed to the theatre.
