NSCDC Lagos State Area B Commander Celebrated for Crime Reduction and Community Engagement

The Assistant Commandant of Corps (ACC) Anerunoye Shola, Area B Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Lagos State Command, has been widely commended for his exemplary leadership and achievements since taking office three months ago.

In a ceremony held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, traditional leaders of Imota and Isiu formally allotted land for the construction of new divisional offices, a milestone celebrated with the attendance of the Lagos State Commandant, Mr. Keshinro Adedotun, and his team. The event highlighted the effective collaboration and warm welcome orchestrated by ACC Anerunoye Shola and the Divisional Officers of Imota and Isiu.

Under ACC Anerunoye’s leadership, Area B has witnessed a significant reduction in trade-related and communal crimes. His efforts to strengthen inter-agency cooperation between the NSCDC and other security organizations have contributed to an improved public image of the Corps throughout the Ikorodu area.

Speaking on behalf of the Public Relations Unit, SC Oluwaseun Abolurin praised the Area B Command for the positive impact made in a short span, noting the commendable strides toward enhanced security and community developmen
