NSCDC Commandant General Signs 2025 Performance Contract, Reinforces Commitment to Renewed Hope Agenda

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, has signed the 2025 Performance Contracting Agreement with the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.

The signing ceremony, held on August 30, 2025, highlights the Federal Government’s unwavering dedication to promoting accountability, transparency, and improved service delivery within the Ministry of Interior and its affiliated agencies.

By entering into this agreement, the NSCDC reaffirms its commitment to a mission-driven and people-focused approach, in line with its core mandate to:

  • Safeguard critical national assets and infrastructure,
  • Tackle illegal mining activities,
  • Deliver effective community safety services, and
  • Strengthen national security frameworks.

This renewed commitment aligns seamlessly with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, which emphasizes responsive governance and institutional efficiency.

The event also marked the conclusion of the Performance Management Retreat, a strategic forum where Ministries, Departments, and Agencies reviewed institutional progress and explored strategies for enhanced policy implementation.

The NSCDC assures the Nigerian public of its continued adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and excellence, ensuring that the benefits of good governance reach all segments of society
