NSCDC Monitors Kaura Namoda South By-ElectionZamfara

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Zamfara State Command, played a key role in ensuring order during the Kaura Namoda South by-election held across six wards on Saturday.

The State Commandant, CC Sani Mustapha, personally led teams of officers to supervise and monitor activities in Banga, Dan Isa, Kagara, Kurya Madaro, Kyambarawa, and Sakajiki wards.

Security presence was visibly heightened as the exercise drew participation from top officials, including the Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Maikaba, and Zamfara’s INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Mahamud Isah.

The poll, according to observers, was largely calm and peaceful, with no major disruptions reported.
