CCCC REPRESENTATIVE PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO NSCDC JIGAWA STATE COMMANDANT

The Jigawa State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, on Thursday, received in audience Mr. Wu, a senior representative of China Communications and Construction Company (CCCC), who paid a courtesy visit to the State Command Headquarters in Dutse.

The visit was part of efforts to strengthen collaboration and enhance the safety of ongoing and future CCCC infrastructural projects within the state.

In his remarks, Mr. Wu expressed appreciation for the security support already provided by the Corps to Chinese personnel and assets operating in Jigawa State.

He further stated the company’s willingness to deepen engagement with the NSCDC, especially in the area of critical infrastructure protection and intelligence sharing.

Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga welcomed the delegation warmly and assured them of the Command’s readiness to provide continued support in line with the Corps’ statutory mandate.

He reiterated that NSCDC remains committed to safeguarding all lawful investments, especially those contributing to the socio-economic development of the state.

He said, “NSCDC is fully prepared to work with responsible corporate entities such as CCCC to protect lives, property, and strategic infrastructure. We will continue to ensure a safe operating environment for both local and foreign partners in Jigawa State.”

The visit ended with an exchange of goodwill and a mutual agreement to strengthen communication between the NSCDC and the Chinese construction firm going forward.
