Eid-el-Kabir: NSCDC deploys 2500 personnel in Kaduna

The Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, CC Nuhu Dansadau, has ordered the immediate deployment of 1,500 personnel across the 23 Local Government Areas of the state to protect lives, property, and critical national assets and infrastructure.

The Federal Government has declared Friday, June 6, and Monday, June 9, 2025, as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-ul-Adha celebration.

In a statement by the Command Public Relations Officer, SC Musa Labaran said the Commandant, who assured Kaduna residents of the security of their lives and property during the festive period, urged members of the public to go about their normal businesses.

He warned criminals in the state to turn to positive character and be good citizens, else they will face the consequences of their criminal actions.

The Commandant, while felicitating with Muslims during this festive period, prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the leadership of NSCDC wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to continue to pilot the affairs of the corps.
