
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Jigawa State Command, has received the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Jigawa State, Corps Commander Umar Masa’udu Matazu, on a courtesy visit to the State Commandant, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga.
The visit, which took place at the NSCDC State Headquarters in Dutse, was aimed at strengthening the already existing synergy between the two agencies in the area of security, road safety management, and protection of critical national assets and infrastructure.
In his remarks, the FRSC Sector Commander appreciated the leadership of the NSCDC in the state for its steadfast commitment to national security.
He emphasized the need for continuous collaboration between sister agencies, particularly in intelligence sharing, operational coordination, and public safety.
In his response, the NSCDC Jigawa State Commandant, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, expressed his profound appreciation for the visit and reiterated the Corps’ readiness to work hand-in-hand with the FRSC towards achieving a safer and more secure environment for the good people of Jigawa State.
He stressed the importance of joint operations and regular inter-agency engagements to address common security and safety challenges.
