The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, at the retirement and thanksgiving ceremony, of the Command’s Chaplain, Deputy Superintendent of Corps Agwu Maduabuchi earlier today, Monday, 26th May, 2025 charged, all personnel of the Command to emulate the professional and humble character of the retiree, which he exhibited, during his meritorious service to his Fatherland through our highly revered, Corps.
The distinguished guests, who garced, the occasion today, Monday, made it known while testifying about their separate encounters with the Chaplain that he served the NSCDC and by extension his Father land, in all honesty and sincerity. Many said that he also used, his position and spiritual influence, to help uphold the faith of many officers before God during his time in the service.
The Lagos State Commandant was ably, represented, by Deputy Commandant of Corps Jimoh Sulaiman, at the meritorious ceremony of the outgone Chaplain of the Solution Chapel, NSCDC, Lagos State Command, which saw the gathering of distinguished guests from various security services and denominations such as Nigerian Airforce ( NAF ), Nigeria Custom Service ( NCS ), Nigeria Police Force ( NPF ), Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministry ( MFM ), family members, senior officers and members of the Solution chapel et ce tera.
The highpoints of the event also include; hand over of the mantle of leadership by the outgone Chaplain, DSC Agwu Maduabuchi to the new chaplain, Superintendent of Corps Obigho Stephen. The season was led by the Chapel Working Committee, led by Pastor Mrs Esther Olu – Aina and her team.
Other highlights include; presentation of awards and gifts as the Lagos State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, Joint Christian Military Fellowship, Chapel ‘s working committee, Solution Chapel Members led, by Pastor Mrs Esther Olu – Aina and the Deputy Commandant of Corps Prisca Okoh also present cash and gifts to the retired chaplain, amidst many other dignitaries.
