
The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Jigawa State Command, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, has paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Dutse, His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Hamim Muhammadu Sanusi, at his palace in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.
The visit, according to Commandant Bodinga, was aimed at strengthening the cordial relationship between the Corps and the traditional institution, as well as to seek royal blessings and support in the ongoing efforts of the NSCDC to promote peace, security, and community development across the state.
In his remarks, the Commandant emphasized the importance of collaboration with traditional rulers in tackling issues such as insecurity, vandalism, and community unrest. He noted that the NSCDC values the role of the Emirate Council in maintaining grassroots stability and fostering public trust in security operations.
While welcoming the Commandant and his entourage, His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Hamim Muhammadu Sanusi commended the Corps for its commitment to safeguarding lives and property.
He assured the Commandant of the Emirate’s full cooperation and encouraged continuous synergy between security agencies and traditional leaders for sustainable peace in the state.
The Emir offered prayers for the success of the Command and the continued safety and prosperity of Jigawa State.
