NSCDC JIGAWA STATE COMMAND HOLDS ONE-DAY TRAINING ON MODERN INVESTIGATION, INTELLIGENCE GATHERING, DIGITAL TRACKING TECHNIQUES

In a bid to enhance the operational capacity of its personnel, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Jigawa State Command, has held a one-day intensive training session for all officers and men of the Command at the State Headquarters in Dutse today.

The training covered key areas critical to modern security operations, including:

• Transformation of NSCDC Map Reading Techniques
• Fraud Investigation and Detection
• Advanced Investigation Techniques
• Intelligence Gathering Using Digital Technology
• Mobile Phone Tracking and Analysis

The session was facilitated by Ashahabu Yakubu Makama, a seasoned security expert and intelligence analyst, who provided detailed practical and theoretical insights on modern techniques used in intelligence gathering and criminal investigations.

While addressing the officer and men, the State Commandant, Bala Bawa Bodinga, emphasized the importance of continuous training and professional development to meet the ever-evolving challenges in the security sector. He stated that the Corps must stay ahead by adopting digital tools and intelligence-led strategies in combating crimes such as vandalism, cattle rustling, kidnapping, and cyber fraud.

Commandant Bodinga appreciated the facilitator for his expertise and encouraged officers to make maximum use of the knowledge acquired for the improvement of security operations across the state.

The Command remains committed to building a well-trained, disciplined, and technologically equipped workforce capable of delivering on its core mandates.
