
The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Jigawa State Command, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, today, Monday, May 19, 2025, paid official visits to the Brigadier Commander of the 26 Armored Brigade, Nigerian Army, and the Commandant of the Jigawa State Vigilante Group.
The visits were part of Commandant Bodinga’s ongoing efforts to foster inter-agency collaboration and strengthen the existing relationship between the NSCDC, the military, and other security stakeholders within the state.
At the 26 Armored Brigade, the Commandant was received by the Brigadier Commander, where both leaders discussed areas of mutual interest, including joint operations, intelligence sharing, and enhanced security coordination.
Commandant Bodinga also visited the Jigawa State Vigilante Command, where he commended the leadership and personnel for their contributions to state security.
He emphasized the importance of grassroots intelligence and local partnerships in addressing emerging security challenges.
The NSCDC Commandant reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the safety of lives and property in Jigawa State through sustained cooperation with all relevant security agencies.
