EFFECTIVE SYNERGY: ABIA NSCDC BOSS, COMMANDANT REMI AJOSE, ADVOCATES RESULT-ORIENTED COLLABORATION WITH DSS, OTHERS

Commandant Remi Akintola Ajose, the head of the Abia State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has advocated for strong and effective collaboration with the Department of State Services (DSS) and other sister agencies to ensure effective security, emphasizing that working in isolation would not yield the desired results needed to combat criminality.

Commandant Ajose made these remarks while hosting the newly deployed Director of the Department of State Services, Ibrahim Abdullahi, who paid him a courtesy visit at his office on Friday.

“It is crucial that we strengthen our collaboration and synergy for maximum security. We should review our joint efforts with a view to enhancing Nigeria’s security. This is the only way Nigerians can be convinced about their safety, stressing that NSCDC is open to all stakeholders and has made significant strides in this area over the past decades, especially in the field of intelligence sharing.” said Commandant Ajose.

In his remarks, the visiting DSS Director, Ibrahim Abdullahi, thanked the NSCDC Commandant for the warm reception extended to his team. He echoed Commandant Ajose’s views on the importance of effective synergy and collaboration between the two security agencies for the protection of the people and the nation as a whole.

“I’m in Abia State with high optimism, and I’m confident that we can always work together for the good of Nigeria,” said Abdullahi.
