CP BAKORI COMMENDS TACTICAL AND OPERATIONAL COMMANDERS ON OUTSTANDING BREAKTHROUGHS IN CASES RECORDED, CELEBRATES DPO SHARADA FOR RECEIVING PCRC NATIONAL AWARD

The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, Dr. Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, has commended Tactical and Operational Commanders in the Command for their commitment and dedication to duty, following an exceptional breakthrough in cases recorded during the week under review.

The Commissioner of Police made the commendation in a meeting with the Commanders in his office on 12th May, 2025. He expressed satisfaction with the remarkable progress made in tackling crimes and criminality in the State and charged the Commanders to sustain the tempo, ensuring that peace continues to prevail in the State.

In a related development, the Command is delighted to announce that the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Sharada Division, CSP Abdurrahim Adamu, has been recognized and awarded by the National Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) for his outstanding contributions to the development and progress of policing in Nigeria.

The award, which reads “In recognition of your outstanding and immense contribution to the development and progress of policing in Nigeria, and support for your Community Policing especially the PCRC National Headquarters, Abuja-Nigeria,” is dedicated to the entire Command, acknowledging the tireless efforts of all officers and men in promoting peace, security, and community development in the State.

The Commissioner of Police congratulates the DPO and the entire Command on this achievement, noting that it is a reflection of their hard work and commitment to serving the public. The Command expresses gratitude to the National PCRC for recognizing the efforts of its officers and looks forward to continued collaboration in promoting community policing and enhancing security in the State.
