COMMANDANT AHMAD UNVEILS RAPID RESPONSE SQUARD, MEETS WITH STRATEGIC COMMANDERS

As part of his commitment to promote safety and security in Katsina State, the State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Katsina State Command, Commandant of Corps, Aminu Datti Ahmad unveiled a specialized Rapid Response Squard today Wednesday 23rd April, 2025 at the Command Headquarters Katsina, Katsina State.

In his remarks, Commandant Ahmad emphasized that the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Dr.Ahmad Abubakar Audi directed the formation of Rapid Response Squard across the country in order to properly respond to emergency, promote safety, security and ensure adequate protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructures.

The team is stationed on alert to provide timely response in the event of emergency in the State.

In another development, the State Commandant held first quarterly management meeting with Head of Departments, Units, Area Commanders, Divisional Officers,Unit Commanders and OC Outposts.The strategic meeting which coincided with the 100days in office of Commandant Ahmad reviewed successes, chellenges and chart way forward.
This is part of the commitments of the Commandant to provide excellent leadership and promote dedication and sacrifice in the service.

The Commandant charged personnel for good attitude to work, adhering to standard operational procedure and other professional best practice.

In his roadmap, the Corps helpsman in the State itemized progress record, rewarding hard work, training, retraining and more welfare plans for the Command personnel.He also commended some of the officers that exhibited outstanding performances in their various areas of responsibilities.
