CIVIL SOCIETY NETWORK ON MIGRATION AND DEVELOPMENT (CSOnetMADE), NIGERIA HONOURS COMMANDANT AHMAD

A Civil Society Network on Migration and Development (CSOnetMADE), Nigeria, a platform for information and knowledge sharing, capacity building and mobilization for better advocacy in the intersection of migration and development within the Nigerian system and beyond conferred an award of excellence to the State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Katsina State Command Commandant of Corps Aminu Datti Ahmad on Thursday 17th April, 2025 at Daura Motel in Katsina State.

In his remarks before presenting the award, the Coordinator Mr. Emeka Chris Obiezu disclosed that the the award was in recognition of the State Commandant commitment and dedication to service, promoting peace and security.
“Within the space of his stay in the State, the Commandant distinguished himself in service to humanity and promoting peace and security in the State.
The Coordinator disclosed.
The Coordinator further commended the leadership vision and strategies employed by the Commandant in stirring the affairs of the command.

In his response shortly after the presentation of the award, Commandant Ahmad thanked the Coordinator and his team for finding him worthy of such award.
” I want to thank the Coordinator and his team for such recognition”
“One of my major emphasis after my resumption to office, is promoting safety and security in the State “
The Commandant stated

He further reiterated that the amiable and indefatigable Commandant General

Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi commitment to excellent inspired new era of professionalism and dedication within the Corps.

Other prominent personalities honoured during the event include His Royal Highness the Emir of Daura Alh. Umar Faruk Umar CON,
Commissioner of Police, CP Bello Shehu and CO 171 Battalion Lit. Colonel AA Isah.
