COMMANDANT GYAMA GYAWIYA SHOWCASES OPERATIONAL VEHICLES DONATED AND REFURBISHED BY THE GOMBE STATE GOVERNMENT

In a significant boost to the operational capacity of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Gombe State, Commandant Gyama Gyawiya has showcased a fleet of refurbished and brand new vehicles donated by the Gombe State Government. The showcase, which took place at the State Command Headquarters in Gombe, featured five refurbished vehicles and three brand new utility operational vehicles,.
Commandant Gyawiya expressed his profound gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, for providing the funds and the generous donation. He noted that the gesture not only empowered the NSCDC but also strengthened the safety architecture of the state. The Commandant assured that the vehicles would be effectively utilized to maintain peace, protect critical infrastructure and support lawful efforts to secure lives and property. The refurbished and donated vehicles are expected to significantly enhance the NSCDC’s operational capacity in the State. The refurbished vehicles, which were previously grounded, have been restored to working condition, while the brand new operational vehicles will provide the corps with the necessary tools to respond to security challenges effectively. Among the refurbished vehicles includes a Bus which will also facilitate the transportation of personnel and equipment, further boosting the corps’ operational efficiency.
The Refurbishing and the donation of operational vehicles to the NSCDC by the State Government is a welcome development that will undoubtedly enhance the corps’ ability to respond to security challenges in the state. As the NSCDC continues to work tirelessly to maintain peace and security, the donated vehicles will serve as a vital tool in their efforts to protect lives and property.
It would also be recalled that the Gadam Community Development Association (GACDA) also donated a brand new Toyota Hilux to the NSCDC Gadam Division, further demonstrating community support for the corps’ efforts.
