COMMANDANT OVYE DEPLOYS OVER 1,000 NSCDC DELTA PERSONNEL AHEAD OF EID-EL-FITR CELEBRATION…assures adequate protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI) and hitch free celebration

The Delta State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, CC MATHEW SUNDAY OVYE, has deployed One thousand, One Hundred and Ten (1,110) personnel of the State Command to ensure the safety of lives and properties of Deltans during the forthcoming Eid-el-fitr celebration and to adequately protect all Critical National Assets and Infrastructures across the entire Delta State.

Commandant Ovye who is committed to the protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI) in the state has directed all commanding officers to ensure that all facilities of economic importance are protected.

The State Commandant tasked Area Commanders to ensure proper Security coordination of their areas, while Divisional Officers are to effectively mobilize their personnel for deployment to all recreational areas and prayer grounds within their respective jurisdiction.

All Component Commanders and Special Forces are to secure all identified flashpoints and ensure maximum protection of the Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI) in the State, which includes all Schools, to demonstrate our collective resolve to guarantee peace, safety and protection of lives and Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI) in synergy with other Security agencies.

The State Commandant concluded by felicitating with all Muslim faithfuls in the state, the Country and by extension, across the world wishing them a peaceful Eid el-Fitr celebration, just as he prayed God Almighty for a more peaceful and progressive Nigeria.
