As the week drew to a close, I had the honor of witnessing and documenting a powerful moment of leadership in action—the Commandant General’s operational tour to the Niger Delta, this time in Delta State.

This was more than just an official visit; it was a mission of inspiration, a call to duty, and a reaffirmation of commitment. In the heart of Nigeria’s oil-rich region, where the waters run deep and the stakes are high, the CG stood among the brave men and women who serve onshore and offshore, protecting the lifeblood of our nation’s economy.

In a defining moment of the tour, the CG did not just address the squad with words—he led by example. To inspire and motivate his officers, he dropped to the ground and led a push-up session, a powerful act that spoke volumes. It was a message of resilience, discipline, and shared strength.
